Bridges Outreach Breaks Ground on “Kokomo Little Links” Mini-Golf Course at Cutler Park

KOKOMO, IN — 6/30/2025 — Bridges Outreach is excited to announce the launch of Kokomo Little Links (KLL), a brand-new mini-golf course and shaved ice stand located in the heart of Kokomo at Cutler Park—on the former site of the Eastside Little League, just off U.S. 31. Groundbreaking begins this July, and we hope to open by Labor Day. A huge thank you and shout out to the City of Kokomo for helping us bring this attraction to our community!

But this is more than just mini-golf.

“When you visit Kokomo Little Links, you’re investing in more than just a game,” said Travis Taflinger, CEO at Bridges Outreach. “You’re investing in our community and building up the future workforce.”

All proceeds from Kokomo Little Links will support Bridges Outreach’s mission to develop youth through discipleship, education, leadership skills and workforce readiness. Bridges’ employment services include training in interviewing, budgeting, resume-building, customer service, and problem-solving—all rooted in a Christ-centered environment.

In addition to the 18-hole course, Bridges will operate a shaved ice stand from the KLL clubhouse, adding another fun, family-friendly feature to the experience.

More Than Recreation—A Community Investment

Bridges Outreach has already built a reputation for youth workforce development through its successful Frozen Sandlot ice-skating rink, which has employed over 100 high school and college students during the past seven winters. Kokomo Little Links will now offer a complementary summer business, creating warm-weather employment and training opportunities for even more local students.

“This is a sustainable economic investment in Kokomo’s future,” Bridges Outreach shared. “It provides employment, builds skills, and adds a vibrant, inclusive recreational option to our parks and neighborhoods.”

A Vision for the Future

  • Student Employment: Bridges will hire local youth and provide wraparound employment services including performance evaluations and mentorship.

  • Family-Friendly Destination: KLL will serve as a welcoming, diverse activity space for families, groups, and out-of-town visitors.

  • Sustainable Impact: All profits will be reinvested into Bridges’ programming, strengthening services for youth across Howard County.

"This is a long-term investment in Kokomo's youth and quality of life," Taflinger added. "We believe this course will create fun and memories, but more importantly, it will create leaders." Stay tuned for updates and event details by visiting: https://kokomolittlelinks.com
